By the fall of 2014, Rover.com had been growing exponentially and they wanted to improve email communications to better meet the needs of their audience.  I was brought on board and tasked with overhauling the email platform, both visually and technologically.
The three main objectives were:
- Design/build responsive emails
- Bring design in line with recent brand refresh
- Design/build weekly email campaigns utilizing content and assets provided by various    content production teams.
Example of Original Rover.com email
With a surging customer base and a large network of caretakers to manage and grow, Rover.com wanted to rethink and reengineer their email communications to better engage customers and help guide caretakers in being more effective in their client relations.

I was tasked with redesigning and building new, responsive emails based on usage metrics, brand guidelines, and best practices.
Example of an Original Rover.com Email
Shown above are two of Rover’s original email campaigns.  To help Rover meet it’s goals, my redesign addressed:

- Brand consistency
- Best practices for email design
- Best practices for responsive design
- Improved visual consistency and readability
Redesigned Rover.com Email
Pleased with the redesign, the Rover team gave me the green light to begin development for the production emails.  Each week, the content for a new batch of emails for various campaigns would be produced.  I would then take that content and design and build the emails for each campaign.  Below are a selection of some of the emails produced for the teams at Rover.
